Fiat 126
In October 1971, when a Polish delegation signed an agreement with FIAT executives for the licenced production of a small-engine car, work was underway in Turin on a successor to the Fiat 500, which had been in production since 1957. The new model was called the ‘126’.

The first sketches and photos of the camouflaged prototype appeared in the spring of 1972 in the French magazine ‘L’Auto-Journal.’
